Every well on its own month 1
Pick the first month above zero or the peak month as time zero. Calendar dates drop away and each well lines up from aligned month 1, across year ends and different start dates.
P10 (high), P50, P90 (low), labelled the right way
P10 is the level 10% of your wells reached or went above. The inclusive percentile rule is the same one Excel calls PERCENTILE.INC, written out on the page.
Per 1,000 ft of lateral, one switch
Add a lateral_ft column and divide every month by lateral length. Wells without a lateral are named and set aside for that view rather than quietly skewing it.
Gaps and shut-ins handled honestly
A recorded zero after month 1 counts as a shut-in month. A month with no row is left out, not filled with zero. Months with too few wells keep their count and leave the statistics blank.

With a minimum of 3 wells, a month that only two wells reach shows fewer than 3 wells and blank statistics.
